ABOUT THIS PROJECT
A physical interface for everyday device control
SmartDeskOS explores the overlap between embedded systems, interface design and everyday automation.
The project uses an ESP32-S3 touchscreen as a dedicated control surface for functions such as PC Wake-on-LAN and television control, with room for future IR and NFC features.
The interesting part is not only making each function work, but making the whole device feel coherent and responsive as a standalone product.
